Wellington Lemus began his career as a Scheduler Coordinator within the home healthcare industry in the fall of 2018. This awakened his passion to help families find the perfect nurses for their children and family members. Being bilingual allows him to connect with his Spanish-speaking clients without losing a beat. In his day-to-day. Wellington collaborates with his Plano team to find and execute shifts between nurses and their clientele. He ensures their nursing pool is well equipped to meet client needs, equipment, and nursing staff diversity and leads payroll efforts. When he’s not in the office Wellington loves spending quality time with his wife, two kids, and two German Shorthaired Pointer pups. On weeknights and weekends, he serves his local community church as an Electric Guitarist and Music Director. As a family man, he takes his drive of caring for others into his professional environment by delivering exceptional customer service and support.
Michelle Brill, RN is the Administrator and Clinical Educator for LaLa. She helped develop and leads the classroom curriculum for Parker’s Room Lab. She has eight years of experience in pediatric and geriatric care. Michelle’s passion is caring for patients, their families, and our nursing staff. In her downtime, she enjoys camping and trips to the beach with her family and their dogs and cat. Michelle enjoys reading, learning, and applying different materials to everyday life. She aspires to educate others to achieve their best in hopes to cultivate efficiency on best nursing practices and help provide a better quality of care in the home care setting.
Brittney Fischer has always had a heart for the home health industry. She had a younger sister who was born handicapped, and she and her family experienced firsthand the benefits of good home health care. Brittney witnessed the care of a child in her own home and now serves as the Human Resources Director for LaLa. She has worked with LaLa since 2020 and is excited about the exceptional care LaLa will continue to provide others in the future.
Annie Evans is LaLa’s Authorization Specialist, assisting patients who need treatment requiring insurance carrier pre-authorization. She interviews patients to assess their medication needs and liaises with insurance companies and nurse managers for prior authorization approval. She is responsible for taking pre-authorization information from the client or the representative and checking whether these are consistent with the system. Annie enjoys her time with LaLa and how the company makes an impact on patients whether it’s PDN or PCS. Her job helps her take care of her children and family with the flexibility of working in the office or remotely.
Brianne Thompson has always had a desire to help others and thought she would do so as a teacher until she stepped into Carrington College’s medical assistant program in 2013. She has loved the medical field ever since and even served as an attendant for LaLa in their early years. In December of 2021 she returned as LaLa’s PCS Recruiter. The department has soared ever since her arrival. She enjoys traveling in her free time, with plans to see all 50 states.
Brenda Kemp, RN wanted to be a nurse very early in life. She graduated high school and then attended a vocational school where she received her LPN license in Louisiana. She later moved to Dallas and received her RN license from El Centro Community College. Brenda has spent many years in bedside nursing, charge, clinical management, private duty, and agency staffing. In 2012, she left Baylor Medical Center of Dallas and continued nursing in home health. She began working as an Alternative Administrator at LaLa in 2018 and believes this has been the most fulfilling and satisfying of all her home health experiences. Her other position at LaLa is co-coordinating PAC/PCS chart audits and home assessments for clients. Brenda’s vast knowledge of nursing makes her one of LaLa’s most treasured employees.
Felicia Romo was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She started her journey at PCI in March 2019. She then joined LaLa Healthcare Solutions in November 2019 as a Billing Specialist and has since been promoted to Billing Director. Her expertise is in handling day-to-day accounting functions and her knowledge of overseeing and streamlining billing/collections processes. Felicia was awarded LaLa’s Employee of the Month in June of 2022. She enjoys spending time and making memories with her son, reading, traveling, cleaning, watching movies, and baking.
Jessica Mendietta, LVN is the Quality Assurance Nurse for LaLa Healthcare Solutions. She is responsible for maintaining client files, preparing for audits, and reviewing nursing documentation for appropriateness. Jessica also assists with quality assurance and policy compliance training programs by developing reference materials and monitoring policies and procedures to resolve inadequacies in clinical documentation. She works to resolve any issues with nurse charting and recommends changes to procedures. Jessica began her career in 2015 and has always wanted to work in pediatrics. She is a wife and mother and enjoys spending time with her family.
Lizbeth Reyes is a Scheduling Coordinator in LaLa’s Dallas office. She has been in the home health industry for over 10 years. Providing good care for patients in the comfort and safety of their own homes is what she loves most about her work. The smile and joy of a patient are her greatest satisfaction. She is a wife and mother of two boys and one girl.
