CEO and Founder
Chantal Torrain
Chantal Torrain is the President and CEO of LaLa Healthcare Solutions. She began her nursing career at the age of 18 and worked at Baylor in Dallas for 15 years. After that she began working as a home health nurse for ventilator-dependent patients.
She eventually transitioned into home health management where she successfully opened and managed offices across Texas. In 2013, she founded her own agency, LaLa Healthcare Solutions. And in 2021, she opened Parker’s Room Lab, a state-of-the-art training facility specifically designed to train and certify home health nurses.
She has written and published CEUs for the lab and continues to see its success grow and innovate the home health industry in Texas and across the nation. She is also a sitting board member of the Texas Association of Vocational Nurse Educators (TAVNE). Chantal’s life purpose is to forever change the home health industry and restore nurses’ pride and power by educating them to be certified Home Health Nurses. Ultimately, she wants parents of special needs children to have the best trained and most qualified nurses possible.

Corporate Director of Operations
Joshua Ellis
Josh Ellis has worked in senior management in the home health industry for over 10 years prior to joning LaLa HCS. He has immense expertise as a service coordinator and operations manager, from handling payroll, HR duties, billing, and market projection and growth.
These experiences eventually led him to LaLa in 2019 where he now works as the Corporate Director of Operations.

Regional Director
Estevan Hernandez
Estevan Hernandez has 6 years healthcare industry for over. His career started after graduating from Concordia University in Austin, TX where he met his fiancé, majored in Kinesiology, and played baseball.
Starting as a Client Service Supervisor out of college, he was in entry-level management where he learned to grow and care for his families and nurses day in and day out. He now oversees operations for both Plano and Dallas locations as LaLa continues to grow and expand. His main duties include the onboarding process, payroll, and reporting for both locations.

Clinical Educator
Michelle Brill, RN
Michelle Brill, RN is the Administrator and Clinical Educator for LaLa. She helped develop and leads the classroom curriculum for Parker’s Room Lab. She has eight years of experience in pediatric and geriatric care.
Michelle’s passion is caring for patients, their families, and our nursing staff. In her downtime, she enjoys camping and trips to the beach with her family and their dogs and cat. Michelle enjoys reading, learning, and applying different materials to everyday life. She aspires to educate others to achieve their best in hopes to cultivate efficiency on best nursing practices and help provide a better quality of care in the home care setting.

Director of Nursing – Plano, Texas
Lori Stewart, RN
Lori Stewart grew up in the medical community. If she wasn’t watching her mom prepare Petri dishes and spin blood in the lab, she was chatting with nurses at the nurse’s station while her dad made rounds. (Clearly, those were the days before HIPPA.)
She attended Iowa Methodist Medical Center School of Nursing. Her nursing career has been mostly in pediatric home health working bedside and administration. She’s had the opportunity to use her nursing skills around the world including AIDS prevention education in Cambodia, medical brigades in Central and South America, and Autism awareness in Nigeria.
She and her husband serve in the marriage ministry at their church and have three grown children. They all enjoy traveling, game nights, and bad dad jokes.

Alternate Administrator
Brenda Kemp, RN
Brenda Kemp, RN wanted to be a nurse very early in life. She graduated high school and then attended a vocational school where she received her LPN license in Louisiana. She later moved to Dallas and received her RN license from El Centro Community College. Brenda has spent many years in bedside nursing, charge, clinical management, private duty, and agency staffing.
In 2012, she left Baylor Medical Center of Dallas and continued nursing in home health. She began working as an Alternative Administrator at LaLa in 2018 and believes this has been the most fulfilling and satisfying of all her home health experiences. Her other position at LaLa is co-coordinating PAC/PCS chart audits and home assessments for clients. Brenda’s vast knowledge of nursing makes her one of LaLa’s most treasured employees.

Quality Assurance Nurse – Dallas

Jessica Mendieta.
Jessica Mendieta, LVN is the Quality Assurance Nurse for LaLa Healthcare Solutions. She is responsible for maintaining client files, preparing for audits, and reviewing nursing documentation for appropriateness. Jessica also assists with quality assurance and policy compliance training programs by developing reference materials and monitoring policies and procedures to resolve inadequacies in clinical documentation.
She works to resolve any issues with nurse charting and recommends changes to procedures. Jessica began her career in 2015 and has always wanted to work in pediatrics. She is a wife and mother and enjoys spending time with her family.

Lead Scheduling Coordinator - Dallas

Cedric Weaver
Cedric Weaver has worked in healthcare for over 6 years. He joined LaLa in 2019 as a Scheduling Coordinator and is now the Lead Scheduling Coordinator for the Dallas branch.
His greatest joy in home health is making families happy and always finding a way to care for each child’s needs. Cedric hopes to further his education and expertise within the industry. In his downtime, he loves to spend time with his wife and two kids, especially coaching them in sports.

Staffing Coordinator
Wellington Lemas
Wellington Lemus began his career as a Scheduler Coordinator within the home healthcare industry in the fall of 2018. This awakened his passion to help families find the perfect nurses for their children and family members. Being bilingual allows him to connect with his Spanish-speaking clients without losing a beat. In his day-to-day.
Wellington collaborates with his Plano team to find and execute shifts between nurses and their clientele. He ensures their nursing pool is well equipped to meet client needs, equipment, and nursing staff diversity and leads payroll efforts. When he’s not in the office Wellington loves spending quality time with his wife, two kids, and two German Shorthaired Pointer pups.
On weeknights and weekends, he serves his local community church as an Electric Guitarist and Music Director. As a family man, he takes his drive of caring for others into his professional environment by delivering exceptional customer service and support.

Authorizations Director
Annie Evans
Annie Evans is LaLa’s Authorization Director, assisting patients who need treatment requiring insurance carrier pre-authorization. She interviews patients to assess their medication needs and liaises with insurance companies and nurse managers for prior authorization approval.
She is responsible for taking pre-authorization information from the client or the representative and checking whether these are consistent with the system. Annie enjoys her time with LaLa and how the company makes an impact on patients whether it’s PDN or PCS. Her job helps her take care of her children and family with the flexibility of working in the office or remotely.

Human Resources Director
Brittney Fischer
Brittney Fischer has always had a heart for the home health industry. She had a younger sister who was born handicapped, and she and her family experienced firsthand the benefits of good home health care.
Brittney witnessed the care of a child in her own home and now serves as the Human Resources Director for LaLa. She has worked with LaLa since 2020 and is excited about the exceptional care LaLa will continue to provide others in the future.

PCS Recruiter
Brianne Thompson
Brianne Thompson has always had a desire to help others and thought she would do so as a teacher until she stepped into Carrington College’s medical assistant program in 2013.
She has loved the medical field ever since and even served as an attendant for LaLa in their early years. In December of 2021 she returned as LaLa’s PCS Recruiter. The department has soared ever since her arrival. She enjoys traveling in her free time, with plans to see all 50 states.

Billing Director
Felicia Romo
Felicia Romo was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She started her journey at PCI in March 2019. She then joined LaLa Healthcare Solutions in November 2019 as a Billing Specialist and has since been promoted to Billing Director.
Her expertise is in handling day-to-day accounting functions and her knowledge of overseeing and streamlining billing/collections processes.
Felicia was awarded LaLa’s Employee of the Month in June of 2022. She enjoys spending time and making memories with her son, reading, traveling, cleaning, watching movies, and baking.

Scheduling Coordinator - Dallas
Miriam Cuellar
Miriam Cuellar is a Scheduling Coordinator for LaLa HCS. She is notorious for pushing boundaries and chasing after her passion. Her journey and passion for working for kids began in a self-contained classroom for kids with an autism spectrum disorder in 2017.
She became a proud advocate for her students and quickly realized her need to grow her passion and career to continue to make a difference for children in need. From her beginnings in a humble classroom and with her loving, hopeful heart, she began a journey into home health, specifical pediatrics in 2021.
Miriam’s weekend schedule consists of T-ball games and dance classes with her two kids, as well as private tutoring for ASD children.

Scheduling Coordinator - Plano
Christian Carrillo
Christian Carrillo is new to the home health industry. He began his journey in the health care industry in November 2021, when he was hired as a Scheduling Coordinator for LaLa’s Plano office. Christian oversees the recruitment and hiring of RNs & LVNs who work in the North Dallas area.
In his payroll duties, he also ensures that staffed nurses are compensated for their work. Christian spends most of his time connecting, communicating, and bonding with the families of LaLa, assuring they are adequately staffed. He is excited about his future growth in the home health industry.
In 2020, he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Legal Reasoning from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). With his degree, Christian was able to secure jobs in the Criminal Justice field that allowed him to gain and learn the social and communication skills that would push him to succeed in home health.

Executive Office Manager
Margot Stacy
Margot Stacy has worked in the healthcare industry for over 8 years, beginning at a Dallas-based startup in 2014. From customer service to compliance management, she has vast experience shaping and developing companies to be leaders in their respective markets. Her mother was an RN in Mississippi and Margot spent her childhood traveling with her to home health visits and spent many a summer day in nursing homes and hospitals.
She was hired onto LaLa in early 2022 and has found a place where her care and expertise can be fully utilized. Serving LaLa as Chantal Torrain’s executive assistant, coordinator of Parker’s Room Lab, HR administrator, and social media manager.
Margot’s career has come full circle to tie all her experiences and passions together. She is also a mother to three wonderful boys and a cat named Leviathan. She enjoys playing cards with her father, shopping at estate sales and Neiman Marcus, and traveling the US.
