Transfer Process
- Family contacts the new agency (LaLa HCS)
- LaLa HCS meets with family and gathers paperwork/sign consents
- LaLa HCS communicates to the current agency of the family’s desire to transfer
- LaLa HCS submits required paperwork to Texas or COMP
- The current agency submits required paperwork to Texas or COMP
- Once Authorization is received, we will start care services for the patient
- COMP and Private Insurance transfers can happen at any time, therefore the processing time can be as little as a week
